We went here for our Daughter's Hen day there were 16 of us in total including 1 child. The place is amazing and really set the scene for the Hen event. We could not have asked for better service an attention. The presentation and food itself was impeccable with plenty of tea and Prosecco on offer. I would definitely recommend to anyone if they want something that little extra special. Thank you very much from all the Hens.

Lovely afternoon spent at Truly Scrumptious Tea House- saying goodbye to a family member who has passed away. Just the right amount of food and selection of teas and coffees. Very attentive, warm and friendly service. Well worth a drive out to spend a few hours chatting in the charming tea rooms and garden, enjoying the overall atmosphere and out of the ordinary special experience.

Beautiful, tasty and the best possible service. Went for afternoon tea with a friend and was busy admiring all the beautiful decor! Looks like it's dressed for a wedding everyday! Would have been even better if the British weather had been warmer and allowed us to enjoy the pretty outdoor area too, but the lovely ladies at tsth made sure we were warm enough, even bringing an extra heater out just for us!

Loulou and her amazing team could not have done anymore to make our high tea a truly memorable occasion. Her attention to detail, the incredible welcome from everyone and the delicious fare that was offered was simply scrumptious. Will definitely book again when in town.

I booked truly scrumptious for a baby shower for 10 and we had the most wonderful time. The venue is beautiful and the food was amazing. The wonderful hostesses with the mostess were fabulous, super attentive and ensured we got the best. And of course, the afternoon tea was delicious, I would recommend 100%.

Truly Scrumptious is one of the best venues around. We had our silver wedding anniversary, Mum's 80th birthday celebrations and a business retirement do there so far, everyone commented on how beautiful the gardens are. The staff are absolutely delightful, accommodating, friendly and just wonderful. We had organised bands, games and the food has always been exquisite, all dietary requirements were catered for. I cannot fault the team at all and recommend this venue for accommodation too. Thank you always for such a brilliant and truly scrummy time. 👏 🌻🦋

Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea for a hen party. Welcome drinks, lovely selection of teas, well presented food, attentive staff. Can't believe I didn't know this place existed when I lived in Milton Keynes!!

It is with great sadness that I write this review. Having attended Truly Scrumptious pre lock down I had a wonderful time and it was very reasonably priced with an abundance of food. However, this visit in July I was Truly disappointed. We had booked four weeks prior to attending as we had a large group with some dietary requirements and these were specified at the time of booking. Unfortunately, in the days up to the booking 50% of our guests could not attend due to isolation however we could not get hold of anyone 72 hours before to adapt our booking as they are only open Friday and Saturday. So when we finally got hold of someone to inform them of the change, we were told we would still have to pay full price (not just lose the deposit) as the food had been prepared and it would be boxed up for us. So we thought ok fair enough we will help a local business and pay. This was before we saw what £30 of food per person was… So we arrived and the guest with the dietary requirement was bluntly asked ‘well what can you have then’ (by the owner) even though they were told way in advance. They had no milk alternatives for the tea and were given a rock hard scone and a bowl of fruit FOR £30! It wasn’t much better for the normal afternoon tea, one scone, one strawberry a couple of sandwiches and the smallest pieces of cake. Such a small amount of low quality food for the price (see picture of cake stand for TWO PEOPLE). To make matters worse they boxed four people’s afternoon tea that we had paid £120 in ONE BOX and refused to separate into individual boxes for us and gave us paper plates and cling film to do it ourselves! Overall, I would say that if you are after a QUALITY afternoon tea with QUALITY service that cater for all dietary needs then go to The Woburn Coffee house ( it’s a similar price) and NOT Truly Scrumptious.

We had a wonderful time at the Truly Scrumptious Tea House. The host Lou was friendly and very attentive. She took great care to adhere to social distancing policies. The food was yummy, and the tea plentiful. The setting was sumptuous, clean, and warm. We went for a ladies get together and would highly recommend it for all sorts of occasions. There are separate spaces which could be occupied by larger groups for celebrations. There is also a large and pretty garden.

Lou, our host was magnificent supplying fizz and snacks on arrival. We booked an afternoon tea for our 18th Wedding Anniversary! And were so looked after, from arrival right up to leaving we were really looked after. A true, unpretentious, original, homemade and cared for spread! I'm gluten intolerant and Sophie made me a super delicious victoria sponge and other delicious niceties! It really was delightful and totally recommend to anyone who is thinking of a special and memorable afternoon tea. Truly Scrumptious is absolutely what we got! Thank you
