I want to personally extend a huge thank you Steve Harris and his wonderful Harris & Jones team for their exceptional customer service. Recently I purchased one of their bespoke personalised portfolio files (for background - I’m a junior doctor with career interviews fast approaching!). Unfortunately, when the portfolio arrived, I found I had accidentally purchased the wrong width of file (couldn’t fit dividers/poly-pockets). I sent an email to the Harris & Jones explaining the situation, knowing I was unlikely to receive a refund given the personalised engraving on the portfolio. Whilst on my way home from work, I received a call from a number I did not recognise - lo and behold it was Steve Harris himself. He told me he’d discussed my case with his team and they had decided, as a gesture of goodwill, to send out a new replacement portfolio in the correct width. Steve even made sure it would be delivered it as quick as possible to prepare for interviews. I was overwhelmed with the generosity and honestly still can’t believe it. I’ve never heard of the owner of a company ringing a customer before, but it was such a friendly, courteous thing to do. The kindness and humility from this company is so refreshing. The NHS in England (and it’s staff) is going through a little bit of a crisis at the moment and so moments like this really really mean a lot! So thank you again Harris & Jones for exceeding all expectations. The 2nd file has arrived and it is perfect! Personal, classy and sturdy. Clearly very well made products. I’ll be sure to recommend you to all of my colleagues!

Terrible company, one star is being generous. The product that arrived did not reflect the +£100 spent and was sub standard at best! The customer service was abysmal and when providing picture proof that the product was inadequate and asked if they were going to do anything about it they responded with - no. Learn from my mistake and avoid this company at all costs!
